The Pahlavi dynasty's Imperial Coat of Arms of Iran (1932–1979) featured a central shield with Mount Damavand and a rising sun (the Pahlavi emblem) surrounded by four quadrants: the Lion and Sun, Faravahar, Zulfaghar sword, and Simurgh.

Supported by two lions holding scimitars, it was topped by the Pahlavi crown and featured the motto "Justice He bids me do, as He will judge me."
